Firmly heat the eatable oil or ghee in any of United pressure cooker. Put the cumin first in the hot oil. Then put slashed onions into the oil in pressure cooker and saute till they get to be light brown. After that add slashed ginger, green chilies and saute for some seconds, put tomato and saute for 1 minute. Now put all the veggies into the pressure cooker and saute for 2 minutes. Continue blending. Now add the dalia and add to the veggies, mix for 3­4 minutes. Now add that 4 mugs of water and salt to taste and mix. Fix the United pressure cook for 10­12 whistles till the dalia is cooked well. In the event that the dalia has not cooked totally, then add some more water and put pressure cook for couple of more whistle progressively or cook without the top till they are mollified and you get a porridge like consistency. Garnish this vegetable dalia with coriander leaves and serve hot or warm.

Dalia is a diet food and a regular diet of dalia in breakfast tends to reduce weight. Ingredients of Vegetable Dalia for weight loss
 
­ 1 glass dalia/broken wheat

­ 1 medium measured onion, finely cleaved

­ 1 inch ginger, cleaved

­ 1 or 2 green chilies, finely cleaved

­ 1 medium measured tomato, finely hacked

­ 1⁄2 glass hacked carrots

­ 1⁄2 glass hacked potatoes

­ 1⁄2 glass shelled green peas/new or solidified

­ 4 mugs water

­ 1 tsp cumin

­ 1 tbsp oil or ghee

­ salt to taste
