The nation's third biggest programming administrations firm Wipro today said it will get German IT counseling firm cellent AG for 73.5 million euros (about Rs 518 crore).
The all-money arrangement is relied upon to shut in the March 2016 quarter, Wipro said in a documenting to the BSE.
"Wipro has consented to an arrangement with Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg (LBBW) to get cellent AG for 73.5 million euros... The shares are being procured through Wipro's backup Wipro Cyprus," it said.
The procurement will give Wipro huge scale in the DACH area (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and prime client connections, particularly in the assembling and car areas, Wipro Chief Executive Manufacturing and Hi-Tech NS Bala said.
